The Italian Station opens early for the Marine Corps Marathon Historic Half Early Start every year at 5:30 AM and provides complimentary coffee and breakfast to the US Marines volunteering at the event. Then Italian Station staff and volunteers help hand out wet towels and popsicles as they cheer the runners passing by.
